Services and Activities |
Services and Activities A caring professional staff of Registered Nurses (RNs), Licensed Practical Nurses (LPNs), Certified Nurse Assistants and Restorative Aides provide 24-hour nursing services. In the true Ohana (family) style, our staff takes collective responsibility for each resident, yet each level of staff is directly responsible for different types of care. The RNs and LPNs administer medications and treatment, which are prescribed by the resident's physician. Certified Nurse Assistant helps with daily activities such as bathing, dressing, feeding and grooming. Restorative Aides assist in increasing each resident's level of functioning, or, when appropriate, maintaining their present level of independence.
The Social Worker focuses on a resident's emotional and psychological well being. Discharge planning, helping the residents and their families with a variety of needs including adjustment to life in a nursing home, financial and medical assistance, are some of the services provided by the social worker. Our Activity staff ensures that the resident's recreational and spiritual needs are met. Daily activities are tailored to each resident with a focus on developing their social and physical abilities to the highest possible level. Group and individual activities are planned monthly.
